News release Coos Co. DA Office.  Governor Brown announced on November 2nd that she is accepting applications to fill a second vacancy to the Coos/Curry County Circuit Court created by the retirement of Judge Paula M. Bechtold. She is reopening the application period to give members of the bar who were not made aware of an earlier vacancy announcement an opportunity to be considered for the position. See announcement here. She also announced today that she will appoint Andrew E. Combs to the Fifteenth Judicial District Circuit Court, covering Coos and Curry Counties.  Mr. Combs will fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Richard L. Barron.  The appointment is effective immediately.
