Grocery Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 22, 7:46 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “RP reported male subject in his 20s ran out of the store with basket full of food, don’t think he paid for it.  Got into a red Blazer with other subjects and had motorcycle on trailer.  Vehicle went east on Virginia,” 40-year old Nicholas Berger, Coos Bay, cited and released for Theft II.  Value $172.69.  “Also permanently trespassed from all Safeways and from Pony Village Mall.
