A 44-year old Coquille male, convicted earlier of having sex with an underage girl, was sentenced to the maximum penalty allowed under Oregon law Monday, April 24, in a Coos County Circuit Courtroom at Coquille. According to District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, Frank Wayne Noakes was sentenced to two consecutive 25-year sentences in the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem.
