A 26-year old Newport male was rescued Tuesday, Aug. 25 after the vehicle he was operating plunged off a rural road in the Agness area of Curry Co. and traveled 100-feet. Keenon Moore was rescued by volunteers with Agness Fire & Rescue, Gold Beach Fire Dept. and Curry County Deputies. A resident of Agness Road heard the crash and notified the authorities. Moore’s vehicle was located near the mouth of Shasta Costa Ck. He was transported by helicopter to a Rogue Valley hospital in Medford.
