The Coos Bay Police Department is investigating a reported assault that occurred during the afternoon of 07/11/2017, at the Empire Lakes in the main parking lot area off of Hull Street. The female victim of the assault reported the assailant was a male who was unknown to her. The Coos Bay Police Department is asking for anyone who was at the park between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm to contact the police department, as you may have some information that would aid in this investigation.
