At the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards dinner Saturday night in North Bend, Jessica Chavez was recognized as the Ambassador of the Year; Jayson Wartnik Chamber Member of the Year; Dick Leshley Citizen of Year; Joanne Verger, Bill Lansing and John Whitty were honored as Citizen of the Year; Catherine Hampton, of Marshfield High School, Educator of the Year; Northwest Natural Gas Business of the Year; also honored were the Barview Area Charleston Area Parks Association (BACAPA), South Coast Family Harbor, and the 3A Basketball Committee.
