The 2015-16 school year is upon us. North Bend students will return to classes Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 9 & 10. First through 9th grade report on Wednesday, all others on Thursday. Kindergarten in North Bend begins Friday, Sept. 11. At Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, Tuesday, Sept. 8, is 8th Grade Orientation Day. Classes for grades 8-12 begin on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Grades 1-7 will start the school year Tuesday, Sept. 8. Kindergarten begins Sept. 14. Motorists are reminded the speed limit in school zones is 20 mph.
