The Buckskin Fire of Southwest Oregon has blackened nearly 1,200 acres near the Oregon-California border in Curry Co. over the weekend. The lighting-caused fire is burning southeast of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness, about six-miles north of the California Border in the Baldface Creek Area. More than 100 firefighters are working to contain the wildfire.
