News release CBPL. July Events – July 6–Award winning storytelling at the Coos Bay Public Library, July 6th at 2:00pm. All the world’s a stage and stories are the building blocks of life! Join award-winning theatrical storyteller, Christopher Leebrick, as he builds a world of stories, fires up your imagination, and makes fun-filled tales come to life. July 13–The International Reptile Rescue Center returns to the Coos Bay Public Library July 13th at 2:00pm. This event is an annual favorite! Come see turtles, lizards, snakes and even a baby alligator! The IRR provides an exciting and interactive program as they educate audiences about these incredible creatures. July 20–Children are invited to a birdhouse workshop at the Coos Bay Public Library July 20th at 2:00 pm. Our friends from the South Slough Estuarine Reserve will help you put together a red cedar wren house to take home! July 27–The 2017 Big Rig Show ‘n Tell is July 27th at 2:00pm at the Coos Bay Public Library. Come to the library’s Bennett Street parking lot to see all kinds of big rigs up close! Fire engine, dump truck, road grater, ambulance, log truck and so much more. Make some memories and “Live, Laugh, Celebrate” in North Bend Friday, July 14th, Sat. July 15th, and Sun. July 16th!
