News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 1/4/2015 Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the death of a Charleston area resident. The home was secured after the Deputies left the scene. On 1/5/2015 a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy found the lock on the door had been removed and the door was slightly open. The Deputy located Mark Allistair Gray, 55 years old, inside of the house and he was removing property from the home. Mr. Gray was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail for a charge of Burglary I.
