Oregon Employment Dept. report – Portland-based Bridge Meadows will open an intergenerational housing community for adoptive families and elders in Redmond in the fall of 2021. The Burns Paiute Tribe broke ground on the Yapa Subdivision Project on the Burns Paiute Reservation. The eight home development will be the first built there in almost 17 years. Da Yang Seafoods, which has a processing plant on the Port of Astoria’s Pier 2, plans to build a new facility at the Airport Industrial Park in Warrenton to process shrimp, rockfish, hake, crab, and tuna. Willful Wine Co., a winery, opened in northeast Portland. Erath, a winery in Dundee, closed its tasting room and will open a new one in Portland’s Pearl District. Simple Machine Winery in Talent was destroyed by wildfire. The Layback Food Shack opened at Tsunami Taproom in south Salem. It offers fish tacos, fried fish, and burgers.
