A magnitude 3.4 earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California early Friday morning, Feb. 21. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 1:03 a.m., 32-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA where two fault lines enter the Pacific Ocean and then turn north to run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
