The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued a penalty totaling $6,000 to Richard R. Wilson of Brookings, Ore. for failing to have an asbestos survey performed on a mobile home he had demolished by JC Land Clearing Inc. also of Brookings. JC Land Clearing has also been assessed a penalty of $7,818 for performing the demolition work without an asbestos abatement license.
