News release CCSO. On 11/05/2017, at approximately 1355 hours, Deputies stopped a vehicle for traffic violations near Broadway and Johnson in Coos Bay. During the investigative stop it was determined the driver was determined to have a warrant for his arrest. The driver was identified as Jessie Hillard, 35 years old of Portland Oregon. The warrant were for possession of methamphetamine. Mr. Hillard was taken into custody. During the custodial search of Mr. Hillard he was found in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. The methamphetamine smoking device will be sent to the Oregon State Police Crime Lab to be tested. Mr. Hillard will be referred to the Coos County courts for this new arrest of possession of Methamphetamine. Mr. Hillard was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked in. Per Clackamas County, Mr. Hillard was given a court date to appear in December in their county court system and released on his own recognizance.
