Deputies assist Coos County Patrol and Probation with arrest at a residence on Hwy 42 S near Bandon. On February 28th a Coos County Parole and Probation Officer contacted the Coos County Sheriff’s Office to request assistance locating and arresting Megan Davidson (40) on a Parole Violation. Deputies were advised Ms. Davidson would be transported to Douglas County upon her arrest by P & P. Deputies S. Starr and H. Francis responded to a residence on Hwy 42 S near Bandon, where they located Ms. Davidson and took her into custody without incident. Ms. Davidson was transported to the Coos County Jail, where she awaits transport to Douglas County.

Agency Assist, Bandon
CCSO release – Date / Time: February 28th, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Case Number(s): 2024-00004922; Classification: Agency Assist; Location: Coos County; Suspect(s): (Refer to Bandon Police Department). Heavy Sheriff’s Office presence on Sealander Road and Whisky Run Beach was to assist the Bandon Police Department in locating and arresting an individual who committed crimes in their jurisdiction. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office has received several requests from the public about the reason for the heavy Sheriff’s Office presence on Sealander Road around 10:00 a.m. and Whisky Run Beach around 4:00 p.m. The Bandon Police Department asked the Coos County Sheriff’s Office to assist in locating a man who had committed several crimes in the city of Bandon. At 10:00 a.m., the man was reportedly on his way to a residence on Sealander Lane. However, that information proved to be unsubstantiated. At 4:00 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies and Bandon Police contacted the man at the Whisky Run Beach access, and he was arrested without incident. The arrest was made by the Bandon Police Department, and their department will release any further information about the case. There is no danger to the public, and the suspect remains in custody.
