CCSO release – On February 24th, 2021, at approximately 8:22 AM, Coos County Deputies responded to a report of a Violation of a Restraining Order, located on Grinnell Lane. Deputies arrived at the residence and contacted 56 year old Cy Woodward. Cy charged Deputies with two large metal objects in his hands, and told Deputies they were going to kill him. Deputies were able to place Woodward into custody with no injuries. Cy was taken to Bay Area Hospital upon his request. Bay Area hospital cleared Cy to be taken to the Coos County Jail. Cy was transported from Bay Area Hospital to the Coos County Jail where he was booked lodged on Violation of a Restraining Order, Unlawful use of a Weapon, Menacing, and Resisting Arrest.
