According to an entry on the NBPD log for Feb. 24, 3:54 p.m., 3400 block Broadway Ave., “employee reported shoplifter took ice cream and was sitting outside eating it / officers located the subject leaving area at Perry’s, officer issued” citation for Theft III, “subject issued permanent trespass from Walgreen’s.”

According to an entry on the NBPD log for Feb. 24, 11:38 p.m., “NBPD served valid CCSO warrant, subject was cited in lieu of custody,” 49-year old Scott M. Bonasera, Coos Bay, charged with PCS Meth, CCSO warrant for Cutting & Transporting Forest Products & Theft III.
