News release from Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. “On November 6, 2013, at about 11:00PM, a female complainant reported to Lincoln County Deputy David Boys that her cell phone was recently stolen. The complainant informed the deputy that she loaned her cell phone to her adult son and it was stolen from him when he was visiting a residence in the 7200 block of Gleneden Beach Loop, Gleneden Beach, OR. An investigation was conducted and multiple persons were contacted regarding the whereabouts of the cell phone. On November 20, 2013, law enforcement received an investigative lead in this case and located the phone in the possession of Rita Marie Davis, 39 years of age from Toledo. The deputy seized the cell phone and issued Davis a citation for Theft III and she was released. Later on this same date, further information was developed and another suspect was contacted. Harold Alan McCord, 49 years old from Gleneden Beach, was cited for Theft III and released as well.”
