Four people were ar rested Thursday following service of a search warrant at a Newport-area residence by members of the Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team (LINT), Newport Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, and Oregon State Police. On December 12, 2013, law enforcement officers served a search warrant at 413 SWS 9th Street in Newport. Subsequent search of the residence led to the seizure of methamphetamine, cocaine, drug packaging materials and other evidence related to drug use and sales. Arrested at the scene were: CHRISTINE LYNN BRIGGS, age 58, for Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, and Frequenting/ Maintaining a Place Where Controlled Substances are Kept or Used. RANDY LEE KIZZIRE, age 37, for Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, and Frequenting/ Maintaining a Place Where Controlled Substances are Kept or Used. TIFFANI DIANE COLE, age 47, for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, and Frequenting/ Maintaining a Place Where Controlled Substances are Kept or Used. PATTRICK L. HASBROUKE, age 41, for an unrelated outstanding warrant. This is the third drug-related search warrant LINT has served at this residence since 2008. LINT and Newport Police Department are working with the City of Newport Planning Department and the Office of Lincoln County Legal Counsel to attempt to stem any further public nuisance from this residence.
