In response to the Blackberry Arts Festival taking place in downtown Coos Bay, Coos Art Museum will be extending its open hour on Saturday August 26. Open hours will be from 11am to 4pm and the Museum will be free to the public. Join Certified Zentangle Teacher Rosie Hill at Coos Art Museum on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 11am to 3pm for “Free Zentangle Mini lessons”. Rosie will be leading Zentangle lessons every 30mn in Perkins Gallery at the Coos Art Museum. All necessary materials for the lessons are included and participants will receive a goodie bag to take home. Zentangle books and other supplementary materials will be available for purchase. Coos Art Museum is currently featuring five wonderful art exhibitions that should be of interest to festival goers. These include the 24th Annual Maritime Art Exhibition, Featured Maritime Artist – Steve Mayo, Z.Z. Wei: Pacific Northwest Backroads, Betty LaDuke: Bountiful Harvest and works produced in the painted paper collage workshop taught at the Museum.
