News release from the Coos Bay PD. On 06/02/15 at around 8:00 PM The Coos Bay Police Department responded to the area of Saints Trailer Park located at 255 Kruse on a report of a fight at space 18. The caller stated that a woman that exited the trailer was bleeding and may have been stabbed. Police officers arrived within minutes and located a woman that had collapsed on the sidewalk in the 1000 block of S. 4th Street from an apparent stab wound to her abdomen. The woman identified as 38 year old Courtney Beasley, of Coos Bay was transported to Bay Area Hospital by ambulance to treat her stab wound. After further investigation and scene processing, a suspect was identified as Courtney’s sister, 26 year old Savannah Lewis of Coos Bay. Savannah has not been located at this time and her whereabouts are unknown. The stabbing appeared to have been the result of a domestic dispute. At this time no arrest has been made; however, the investigation is continuing. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Savannah Lewis please contact the Coos Bay Police Department.
