Criminal Trespass
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On March 6, 2015, at approximately 1818 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious Hispanic male who had trespassed onto properties, having been looking into vehicle windows and trying to open vehicle doors near the intersection of Highway 42 and Old Highway 42, in the Norway community of Myrtle Point, Coos County, OR. Deputies contacted the suspect east of that location on Highway 42, identifying him as 33 year old Juan Alvarez. As a result of the investigation, Coos County Deputies arrested Juan Alvarez for ORS 164.245 – Criminal Trespass II and transported him to the Coos County Jail without incident.
Injury ATV Accident
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 03-07-15 at approximately 2:17 PM, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies, Hauser Fire and Bay Cities Paramedics responded to the Bull Run area of the Oregon National Dunes Recreation Area, North Bend for a reported accident. Timothy Harpham of Milwaukie OR had injured himself after he crashed his four wheeler head on into motorcycle while traveling on a sand trail in the Bull Run area. The operator of the motorcycle, Brock Goldbeck of Riddle OR was uninjured. Harpham was transported to Bay Area Hospital with multiple injuries.
