ATV Accident
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On Sept. 6, 2:12 p.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle injury collision on Hauser Sand road near Horsfall Beach in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The accident occurred on a blind corner of a sand road and the two operators were unable to miss each other. Dylon Robbins, 17, Roseburg, was operating a (Class III) Motorcycle travelling east bound and suffered from a broken wrist. He was transported to Bay Area Hospital by a private party and will be cited for No Rider Safety Education Card. Buster Albright, 37, Central Point, was operating a (Class I) ATV (quad) travelling West bound and suffered from an unknown arm injury. He was cited for No Rider Safety Education Card.
