The Coos County Board of Commissioners followed suit Tuesday, March 17, with a declaration during their regular weekly session of a local State of Emergency because of the COVID-19 virus. The declaration authorizes the County to seek additional emergency assistance from State and Federal governments. According to local health officials there are no reported cases of the COVID-19 virus in Coos County.
