The Coos Watershed Association is partnering with local Girl Scout Mackenzie Steuve for a Girl Scout Gold Project. Her project is to help CoosWA turn an old calving barn into a greenhouse at Matson Creek Wetland Preserve. The new greenhouse will help CoosWA propagate plants for restoration projects & native plant gardens. We are looking for volunteers to help with the construction process! When: Saturday, November 14, 2015 10am-2pm; Where: 95168 Tangent Lane (follow E. Catching Slough Road; from Coos River Hwy for 5 miles, turn left on Tangent Lane); What to Expect: We will provide gloves, snacks, and volunteer forms; please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes.
