On Tuesday, November 10th, deputies contacted Quinn Ellis at his residence in Tenmile. Ellis was taken into custody and lodged in the county jail on multiple charges including: First Degree Theft, First Degree Forgery, First Degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument and Second Degree Theft. Sheriff’s deputies have identified 6 victims around Douglas County. Ellis was targeting elderly females. Deputies have also determined that Ellis was selling used equipment and passing it off as new.
