The public is invited to the Coos Watershed Association’s open house to inaugurate their new office and to welcome Haley Lutz, CoosWA’s new Executive Director, to the helm. A Coos County native, Lutz fine-tuned her watershed leadership skills as the coordinator of a north coast watershed association, after earning her master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Law. Lutz and members of the CoosWA Board will be on hand to talk about the CoosWA’s stewardship mission and the nonprofit organization’s wide variety of local projects. The open house is scheduled in conjunction with the December Wine Walk in Downtown Coos Bay, Friday, December 7, from 5-7pm.
