On June 16, Curry county residents and sanitation professionals seeking permits and licenses for onsite septic system installation, maintenance and repair must contact or visit the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s regional office in Coos Bay, Ore. Curry County’s Public Service Division will no longer operate the Environmental Sanitation program. DEQ’s Coos Bay office is located on 381 North Second St. in Coos Bay. Office hours for Coos and Curry county onsite septic services will be Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – Noon and 1-5 p.m. Please call 541-269-2721 for more information.
