News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. Narrative: On April 7, 2016 at 4:12 PM, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to 53874 Fishtrap Road, Myrtle Point, Oregon stemming from an incomplete 911 call where a woman was heard crying hysterically and stating she had been hit. Upon arrival at the location, Deputies contacted Marcus Wood and Sandra Davis, both who reside at the residence. After conclusion of the investigation Marcus A. Wood, 57 YOA was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail on one charge of Domestic Assault IV. Mr. Wood is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail. Sandra Davis did not require any medical attention.
