The Douglas County Major Crimes Team has been activated and is currently on scene. Deputies have located three victims at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are the current focus of the investigation. The Douglas County Major Crimes Team consists of detectives and investigators from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Roseburg Police Department, Oregon State Police and Douglas County District Attorney’s Office. ***END UPDATE*** ***ORIGINAL RELEASE*** On Tuesday, November 07, 2017 at 8:43 pm, the Douglas County 9-1-1 center received a report of a homicide that occurred in the 400-block of Whispering Pines Way in Roseburg. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the residence and are currently conducting an investigation. There is no current risk to the public.
