Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum will honor veterans and one accompanying guest with free admission to the Museum on Veterans Day. Because Veterans Day falls on Saturday, November 11, the Museum will offer the admission discount on the observed and actual holidays: Friday, November 10, and Saturday, November 11. As always, active duty military personnel are admitted free to the Museum with military ID. Honoring veterans and military personnel for their patriotic service is part of the Museum mission–it’s ingrained into our organizational culture. The armed forces are heavily represented in our aircraft collection, and more than 75% of our Museum volunteer docents have served in a branch of the military. “We salute the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country, and welcome them to the Museum not just on Veterans Day, but all year long,” said Museum Executive Director Brandon Roben, an Army Reservist. Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Call 503-434-4180 or visit www.evergreenmuseum.org for more information.
