News release South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team. On Wednesday October 5th 2016, SCINT Detectives executed a search warrant at the residence of 29 year old Raymond Eby located at 1140 Ocean Court, Coos Bay Oregon. SCINT Detectives were assisted by the Coos Bay Police Department, Coos County Sheriff’s Office and the Oregon State Police. During the search evidence of delivery of methamphetamine and heroin to include small amounts of methamphetamine and heroin, scales, packaging materials, drug records, and two firearms were located. Eby is a convicted felon and as such is prohibited from possessing firearms. Further investigation regarding one of the firearms revealed it was stolen during the theft of a vehicle parked outside a residence in Coos Bay Oregon on 08/20/2016. The vehicle was recovered during a Coos County Sheriff’s Office Search Warrant served at a 97788 North Lake Lane, Lakeside Oregon on 8/26/2016. However, the firearm was not located during the search. Eby is currently being supervised by the Coos County Parole and Probation Department based on convictions for Burglary and Eluding the police. Eby violated the conditions of his parole by engaging in the activity mentioned above and was detained at the direction of the Coos County Parole and Probation Department.
