An alleged drug lab at a residential duplex in Coos Bay was raided early Friday morning, Feb. 5, during the execution of a Department of Homeland Security warrant. Officers with the Coos Bay Police Dept., Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office and the Oregon State Police assisted in the serving of the warrant near La Clair and Thomas streets. Two adults were taken into custody, a male and a female, and a three-year old child was placed in the custody of Child Protective Services. An Oregon State Police clandestine lab team was dispatched to the site to help dispose of any illegal/dangerous chemicals. Names of those arrested have not been released.
