DUII (Alcohol), Recklessly Endangering, April 19

CCSO release – Location: S. 8th Street and Park Ave, (Lakeside ATV Route) Lakeside, Oregon. Suspect(s): Cris J. Domer, who is 57 years of age. Narrative: On Sunday, April 17, 2022, at about 6:18 pm, a Coos County Dunes Deputy was patrolling the Lakeside ATV Route, near the intersection of S. 8th Street and Park Ave, located in Lakeside. After the Deputy observed a red 1992 Chevy truck commit several driving violations, the Deputy approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver, who identified himself as 57 year old Mr. Cris Domer. While the Deputy spoke with Cris, the Deputy smelled the strong odor of an intoxicating beverage coming from inside the vehicle Cris had been driving and multiple other physical signs of alcohol intoxication. Cris was asked to step out of the vehicle. The passenger, who had been in the vehicle Cris had been driving, got out of the truck and walked away from the scene. Cris later refused to submit to Standard Field Sobriety Tests after saying he would submit to the tests, however, he would not do the tests. Cris was then placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and the vehicle was removed from the roadway by Mast Towing. Cris was transported to the North Bend Police Department, were he submitted a breath test Blood Alcohol Content of .27 BAC. Cris was issued citations for DUII and multiple other violations. Cris will also be referred to the Coos County Prosecutor for the crime of Reckless Endangering.
