Estate Theft, Jan. 13

News release CCSO.  In January 2016 the Coos County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation involving the theft of multiple items from a deceased subject’s estate.  The theft occurred at a rural residence off of Lone Pine Lane, Coquille, Coos County, Oregon.  In aggregate over $80,000.00 in property was removed from the residence.  The property removed unlawfully included ATV’s, Firearms, Household Furnishings, a motor vehicle and a large amount of tools. As a result of the investigation on 11-17-16 a Coos County Grand Jury indicted Tamisha R. Anderson 33 years of age of Grants Pass, Oregon on the following charges, Theft I (Aggravated), Identity Theft, Forgery II, Criminal Possession of Forged instrument, False Swearing and False statement on a vehicle title. On 1-11-17 as the result of an anonymous tip Ms. Anderson was observed operating a motor vehicle on Fairview Route, Coquille, Oregon.  Ms. Anderson was wanted for failure to appear on the above listed charges. Ms. Anderson was operating a silver, 2015 Toyota, Tacoma, crew cab, four wheel drive pickup.  The automobile was the subject of a criminal seizure order previously written by the Coos County District Attorney’s Office.  The vehicle was seized pursuant to the order and stored at an undisclosed location. Ms. Anderson was arrested without incident and transported to the Coos County Jail and lodged.  Her bail was listed at $100,000.00.  Anyone with information regarding the location of property taken from the estate are urged contact the Coos County Sheriff’s Office at 541-396-2106.
