ODOT release – DRAIN — I-5 motorists should expect 30 minute delays Friday morning, March 1, between Cottage Grove and Rice Hill as utility workers rehang a downed power line near the Drain interchange (Exit 162). From 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., ODOT will conduct rolling slowdowns in the southbound direction from Cottage Grove to Drain (milepost 174-162) and northbound from Rice Hill to Drain (milepost 148-162). Flaggers will hold traffic at each interchange on-ramp in the rolling slowdown area. The line, which is maintained by Bonneville Power, was damaged during the snowstorm on Monday.
