Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4, 5-8 p.m., when the museum doors open at 5 pm for a night of intrigue and entertainment as the Coos Art Museum presents “A Speakeasy Mystery.” This dinner and mystery, set in the Roaring 20s, will have you exercising your sleuthing skills as you partake in a delicious buffet dinner prepared by Chef Max of Little Italy. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the period and create a true speakeasy ambiance. The evening also offers an opportunity to acquire original works by some of the finest artists in the Bay Area. A wide variety of other quality goods and services donated by generous local businesses and individuals will also be available for your bid. The “Fall Fling Fundraiser” is a great way to become acquainted with the Coos Art Museum and to help support its worthwhile programs.
