News release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. On September 9, 2014, at about 9:00 AM, Deputies Cody Tadlock and Abby Dorsey with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office conducted a warrant service in the 2000 block of SE Merten Dr in Waldport. Raymond Edward Vallejo, 48, of Waldport was contacted and taken into custody on a probation violation warrant. Upon further investigation, deputies determined Vallejo had not updated his sex offender registration within 10 days of changing his residence as required. Vallejo was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on the warrant and Fail to Report as a Sex Offender, with a total bail of $65,000.
