On February 27, 2017 at about 9:20 a. m., Troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on George Millican Road, which is 20 miles south of Pineville in Crook County. When Troopers arrived on scene the vehicle, a 1995 Cadillac, was fully engulfed in flames and surrounding vegetation was burning. Once the fire was extinguished investigators determined there was one deceased person in the vehicle. At this time it is believed that only one person was in the car at the time of the crash and the identification of the driver is not yet known. Speed is believed to be a contributing factor into the cause of the crash.
