Men’s and women’s basketball pool play continues for Arsalan Kazemi (Iran) and Maite Cazorla (Spain), respectively. Baseball (Scott McGough, USA) and the triathlon (Claire Michel, Belgium) begin competition. Track and field gets underway with preliminary rounds in the men’s and women’s 800 meters (Charlie Hunter, Australia; Raevyn Rogers, USA) and the women’s 100 meters (Jenna Prandini, USA).
