Oregon State Police (OSP) Criminal Investigations Division detectives arrested a 64-year old Grants Pass man Monday on sex abuse allegations involving a juvenile age victim following a week-long investigation. On February 24, 2014 at 3:00 p.m., OSP detectives arrested FRANS A. GEBHARD, age 64, at his residence. GEBHARD was lodged in the Josephine County Jail for Sexual Abuse in the First Degree (2 counts) and Attempted Sexual Abuse in the First Degree (2 counts). Initial bail was set at $50,000. OSP detectives began the investigation February 13, 2014 into allegations that GEBHARD was sexually abusing a known 10-year old juvenile male during the last two years. There is no evidence or information at this time of other victims.
