On January 5th, 2016, at about 8:00 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported robbery that occurred at the UCAN Headstart facility located at 140 Brittney Avenue in the Green District. The victim, a 36 year old female employee, reported that she was taking out trash when a male suspect approached her from behind and punched her in the face. The suspect demanded money but the victim did not have any. The suspect took the victim’s debit card and fled on foot. The area was searched with the assistance of a Roseburg Police Department K-9 but officers were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a male approximately 5′ 8″, thin build, wearing a dark hoodie and dark blue jeans. The suspect was also wearing a hat and gloves.
