A 33-year old Coos Bay male was found guilty of sexual abuse charges involving two young girls following a two-day trial in a Coos Co. courtroom at Coquille that ended Wednesday, August 3. According to a news release from District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, Branden Scott Haluska was found guilty of two counts of Sodomy in the First Degree and three counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree. The two victims were nine years of age during the trial. Haluska, who will be sentenced August 29, faces up to 25-years on each of the sodomy counts, and 75 months on each count of Sex Abuse in the First Degree.
