Homicide Investigation in Myrtle Point, Nov. 21

Homicidal violence is suspected in the death of a 61-year old Myrtle Point male who was found Wednesday morning, Nov. 20, severely injured in a residence at 201 Ash St..  Lance Lucero was transported to Coquille Valley Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 10:28 a.m.  According to a news release from Coos Co. District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, the cause of death is not being released at this time, and an autopsy had not yet been scheduled.  A “person of interest” has been developed, however.  Lucero’s half-brother, 54-year old Ladd Stewart Robson was last seen Wednesday morning in the Myrtle Point area.  He is believed to be operating a white Chevrolet panel van (Oregon license 085 EHD).  Anyone knowing the location of Robson is urged to contact the police.
