Issues in Domestic Violence – Volunteer Training Offered, March 25

Southwestern Oregon Community College’s Community Education Department is partnering with the Women’s Safety and Resource Center to offer “Issues in Domestic Violence” Volunteer Training. Domestic Violence affects us all. This 10-week free volunteer training series is open to all community members who would like to attend, and is required for those wanting to volunteer with the Women’s Safety and Resource Center (WSRC). Women’s Safety and Resource Center staff along with professionals in the field will provide training in the dynamics of domestic violence, oppression and racism, community resources, domestic violence criminal and civil laws and the role of the Domestic Violence Advocate.
