News release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. On March 17, 2016, at approximately 3:50 PM Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Deputy’s, Jeremy Gautney and K9 Bonni, were called to assist the Toledo Police Department in locating a wanted subject who ran from them in the southeast area Toledo. The suspect, identified as Jose Frede Rodriguez-Aguilar, 27, of Toledo was wanted on two felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant with cautions for resisting arrest. Deputy Gautney and K9 Bonni arrived on scene and Toledo Police officers alerted Deputy Gautney to the last place the suspect was seen running. K9 Bonni tracked Rodriquez-Aguilar through a front yard, around a house, and through the back yard before locating him hiding in blackberry bushes. K9 Bonni alerted to the suspects location and Rodriquez-Aguilar subsequently surrendered and was taken into custody by Toledo Police officers.
