News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On March 15, 2016, at about 1636 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Libby Lane and Clover Road, Coos Bay in response to a single vehicle crash there. Upon arrival, it was found the operator, Daymien Clark, had fallen asleep and driven off of the road. There was extensive damage to the guard rail at the location. The vehicle Clark was driving, a 1995 Chevy pickup is likely totaled. Clark was transported to Bay Area Hospital with minor injuries where he was treated and released. Clark was cited for Driving While Suspended and Fail to Drive in Lane. Libby Lane was closed, on and off, for about two hours. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Coquille Tribal Police, Coos Bay Fire Department and Bay Cities Ambulance.
