Lots of Rainfall, Dec. 8

The heavy rains that hit Oregon Monday, Dec. 7, basically missed the South Coast. According to rainfall totals accumulated by the National Weather Service, the storm entered the state from the Pacific Ocean just north of the Bay Area. Florence recorded 2.71”, while 50-miles further north at Newport, more than 3.00” fell, and at Tillamook 4.25” was recorded. Lees Camp in the Northern Coastal Range had 7.5”.
