Marshfield finished fourth in the 4A/3A/2A/1A OSAA State Dance Competition Saturday night at Portland’s Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum. Stayton won, followed by Valley Catholic, Gladstone and the Upbeats.

Marshfield’s softball team opens the 2014 season at a tournament in Bend this weekend. First year Pirate Coach Brooke Toy says they will play Roosevelt of Portland and Ridgeview of Redmond in the opening rounds.
