A 19-year old commercial fisherman was medevaced off a 38-foot vessel Tuesday afternoon, May 11, after he became ill. The U.S. Coast Guard responded with a helicopter and airlifted the crewmember 25-miles west of Tillamook Bay. He was taken to a local hospital and reportedly was in stable condition.
